Keisha Lanaé (owner) created Her & Her Music, LLC after a unique experience. After years of vocal lessons, only one instructor took her lesson beyond vocal instruction, including tips to enhance her performance.
With each voice instructor thereafter she was left unsatisfied, and with many questions unanswered like “but what do I do with my hands?” or “what if I’m nervous and my hands are shaking?” She realized there was a difference between a voice lesson and performance development, there was more to entertaining a crowd than just singing well.
After being hired throughout her life to help others prepare for studio sessions, Keisha realized she was already in the business of artist development. Her & Her Music, LLC became a reality.
The name “Her” was chosen because of its mystery. Keisha's mother came up with adding “& Her Music” since it would be both her music and her experience that she would be sharing with her clients.
Her & Her Music specializes in the development of musical artists for the purposes of live and in-studio performance. We strive to help “fine-tune” the serious performer, and enhance qualities most sought-after within the entertainment industry. Her & Her Music focuses on each individual from beginning to end.
It is our belief that being physically fit and vocally agile are very important components for a great performance. Therefore, we will design a personalized regiment that includes physical training, proper diet, and a carefully-designed practice schedule in an effort to maintain a healthy voice and increased stamina.
